Fellow Lions,

Here you will find our most recent Orientation Session as well as a Blue Badge Application. I encourage you to promote the Blue Badge Program at your Club and use the Orientation Session as you recruit new members.  A formal Orientation Session will be offered at our Mid-Winter Conference.  Please consider bringing each new member of your Club to the Mid-Winter so they can take advantage of this program and meet other new Lions.

If I can do anything to assist you through the year please do not hesitate to
EMail me.

Hi Fellow Lions,

Think about your club and how well it is doing and where you would like to see growth and changes. The Club Toolkit, which is attached to this website, provides ways to assess your club and many ideas for taking it forward. For example, one document includes many ideas for service projects, fundraisers, and social events. Other documents are good resources for those of us who want to find ways to increase our membership and keep the members we have. Many topics are covered.

Other materials are attached to this website. The documents from the USA/Canada forums cover many topics. Additional documents focus on website design, fundraising, and public relations.

These documents are a virtual treasure trove for anyone in club leadership. Take and look and explore!

I am the District Leadership Chair for the 2007-08 year. Please contact me if I can assist your club in developing the leadership within it. I can arrange for classes, and provide resource materials. If you want a specific course taught at the Mid-Winter, let me know.

Yours in Lionism,

Please note:  The Videos that go to the Club toolkit were too large to leave on the website. If you would like a copy of them please email the webmaster and they can be sent to you on CD Rom.  If there is enough demand for the videos we can put them on YouTube for viewing online.

The Women & Family Membership Chairperson is responsible for encouraging clubs in the district to use Family Service Projects as a means of attracting new members and promoting the service side of the Lions Club.  This position supports the basic goals of the MERL team.

I recommend reviewing the following files for additional information on both Women and Family participation in your Club. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of any assistance.
